Hamadryas laodamia saurites Part II
This image shows the female of Hamadryas laodamia saurites. It can be easily distinguished from the male of this species by the broad white bands on the fore wings.
Regional botanical experts Reinaldo Aguilar and Catherine V. Bainbridge own and manage Los Charcos de Osa. LCO is a private forest reserve and native plants garden located on the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica, in Central America.
We manage an image library of 30,000 + high resolution digital native plant images, with an emphasis on those species which occur on the Osa Peninsula.
